If you choose our package holiday, on arrival at BERGERAC airport, you'll be met by either Peter or Michele, who will transport you to Murphy's Lake. The drive from BERGERAC airport is around 40 minutes; it's a lovely journey through some very picturesque villages, when you reach Murphy's Lake, you'll be greeted with a BBQ and a beer or soft drink. Each angler will be given a full 3-rod set up, a bivvy and other essentials for your stay, see our TACKLE page for full details, if you're looking for a little extra luxury, then why not try one of our cabin swims. Fishing starts at midday on the day of arrival and finishes at 10am on your departure date. A small deposit of £75 will be required per person for tackle, etc. This deposit is in case of breakages and will be returned on your last day. Each angler is responsible for their kit. Once we've welcomed you, Peter or one of the on-site bailiffs will walk you around the lake and show you the good feeding areas, numerous hot spots and give impartial advice on how to catch one of Murphy's Monsters. On the day you leave, we will ensure you get to BERGERAC airport in plenty of time before your flight departure.
